Travel fees apply for weddings and sessions more than 45 km from Downtown Calgary. They’re based on distance and logistics, including travel time, fuel and vehicle use, early starts or late returns for ideal light, location access and parking, seasonal conditions, and any required photography or park permits. Every location is different, so your exact travel fee is always confirmed in advance, with clear communication and no surprises.

Yes. We photograph cultural and religious wedding ceremonies with care, experience, and deep respect for sacred traditions.

Ceremonies such as tea ceremonies, Nikah, Mehndi, Sangeet, Indigenous rites, and multi cultural celebrations are not treated as add ons or aesthetic moments. They are photographed with an understanding of their meaning, structure, and cultural importance.

Before your wedding, we take time to learn the flow of your ceremony, identify sacred or private moments, and understand any cultural, religious, or family considerations. We work intentionally within those guidelines, remaining unobtrusive while documenting the moments that matter most.

Our approach is grounded in listening, preparation, and respect. The goal is to create images that honour your traditions as they are, truthfully and beautifully, so your story is preserved with care and integrity.

We have a small, local team of photographers and videographers. All team members go through our onboarding program and many start as second shooters before leading weddings. Unlike companies that outsource to random freelancers, we never send someone we don’t have 100% confidence in. Your team will be a real person you can trust to tell your story beautifully.

This team-based approach also means that in the rare case of illness or unexpected circumstances, we’re able to ensure a photographer or videographer who aligns with your vision and our signature style is there for your wedding day, so your story is always captured with care and consistency.

All of our team members are trained in our signature Lovelore Studios style. They use similar equipment and techniques, and all photo and video editing is done in-house to match the look you see in our portfolio.

Whether you’re paired with Photographer/Videographer A, B, C, or D, the final images and films will be consistently beautiful and cinematic. If you ever have concerns, we can reassign your team member, though we haven't had this requested yet!
